Shortly before reaching the finale of Rise of the Ronin, you must once again defeat boss Takamori Saigo and his companion Tsuna. Our guide describes this fight taking place after you return to Yokohama in chapter 3. You will meet Saigo during the exploration of the military base during the Lifelong Vow main mission.
Confrontation with Saigo after returning to Yokohama
- At the end of act 3, you must return to the Yokohama region. The heroes will go to the naval battery, which was previously a locked area - this happens during the Lifelong Vow story mission.
- In that quest, you have to get inside the military facility and ultimately reach the fortified building. On the way, you will encounter several mini-bosses - including Hanjiro Nakamura and Kiyotaka Kuroda. Reach the banner next to the hole in the wall shown in the picture. Save the game and replenish consumables from the storage. Passing through the hole will lead you to the boss's arena.
Description of the fight in the military base
- This time, Saigo is accompanied by an animal - Tsun - from the very beginning. The animal is treated as a boss and has its own health bar, but it is much less durable than the main boss.
- We recommend taking care of Tsun first. This should not be difficult, although the animal can use red attacks. This includes, among other things, a rotating air attack (the above picture), which ends with the animal launched forward.
- Saigo uses a large melee weapon again, which he can use to perform a series of swings and spinning attacks. Some of the combinations can end with a red attack and similar to previous fights, your character can be impaled on the boss's weapon.
- Takamori is also able to activate a Ki Blaze, which can increase the strength of his standard attacks as well. Remember then to gradually deplete his ki bar so he can exit Ki Blaze. Remember to use your Ki Blaze.
- If you stop paying attention to Saigo, he can lift one of the cannons and first make a few swings with it, then fire a series of 4 shots from the cannon.
- You can parry the projectile or dodge it to the side at the right moment. The boss, after firing all the shots from the cannon, can throw it at the end.
