Last update: 11 May 2022
On this page of the Dying Light 2 guide, we answer whether valuables have any actual usage. In addition, we inform you where they are stored in the inventory and how to read the purpose of various items.
Valuables
Valuables are types of items that you can obtain similar to loot. They can be, for example, in locations to explore, containers, or on the corpses of defeated enemies. All collected items of this type go to the main character's backpack, in which they have their place (marked in the picture).
Valuables do not have any practical use, even though the names and descriptions of some of them (e.g. antibiotics) may suggest otherwise.
All the valuables you get you should sell at traders. You can choose any trader because they all offer the same prices. Hold down the button indicated by the game with the trade icon (the picture above) to get rid of all the valuables from the inventory at once.
Other stuff in the backpack
For other smaller items, you can easily determine their uses:
- Consumables are automatically moved to the appropriate slots in the main part of the inventory (e.g. throwable items).
- Crafting parts - you can read their purpose by hovering a cursor over them. In the example from the picture above, you can learn that leather is used to create weapon modifications. The game also tells you where it is easiest to obtain specific crafting parts.
