Unfortunately, you won't meet any wild animals, but on the other hand, it also means that you do not have to worry about dangerous predators.

In Dying Light 2 you won't meet any dogs or cats As you explore the city, you may hear a dog barking or a cat meowing in the background, but you won't encounter any of these animals.

In some allied locations (e.g. in Bazaar in the picture above) you can find various farm animals like goats or chickens. However, the game does not allow you to pet them or interact with them in any way.
