Dying Light 2: Disk space Dying Light 2 Guide, Walkthrough

This guide page tells you how much disk space Dying Light 2 takes up on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X.

Last update: 20 January 2022

This page of the Dying Light 2 guide has information on how much disk space the game needs. We have prepared different values for the PC version as well as the console versions.

Disk space - PC

The PC version requires about 60 GB of free disk space. We recommend installing the game on an SSD for better performance, although the game can also run on a traditional HDD.

Disk space - consoles

As for the console versions, there are significant differences, especially between PlayStation 5 and other platforms.

  1. The PS5 version uses the platform's unique compression system and can therefore take up the least disk space. The game should take 31-32 GB (depending on the region), which is the total value for the basic installation and the day 1 patch (it can be downloaded separately or immediately with the digital version of the game).
  2. The exception is the German release of Dying Light 2 for PS5, which should take about 25 GB. This is probably due to the lack of other language versions.
  3. The PS4 version requires about 60 GB of free space.
  4. The Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X versions require about 72 GB of free space.
