When deciding to play as a Rogue in Baldur's Gate 3, you should definitely pay attention to races that have bonuses to attributes like Dexterity, Wisdom, and Constitution. Also, there are additional skills offered by individual races, which can further enrich your character's playing style.
Elf
Elves are always a good choice for all character classes based on agility and dexterity.
- Race Bonus: +2 to dexterity;
- Keen Senses: the hero is proficient in Perception;
- Fey Ancestry: the hero will have an advantage during saving throws against charms, and the magic can't put them to sleep;
- Darkvision: the hero can see in the dark within a radius of 12 meters.
Depending on the subrase you choose, you can augment your Rogue even better.
- High-Elf subrace: You can travel 9 meters per Turn, +1 to Intelligence;
- Wood-Elf subrace: basic walking speed 10.5 meters, proficient in Stealth, +1 to Wisdom.
Halfling
Halfling is another good choice if you want to roll Rogue in Baldur's Gate 3, especially with Lightfoot Halfling subrace.
- Race Bonus: +2 to dexterity;

Drow
Drow is another race in Baldurs Gate 3 that is worth noting when creating a Rogue.
- Racial bonus: +2 Dexterity, 1+ Charisma;
- Fey Ancestry: you have an advantage on saving throws against Charmed, and magic can't put you to sleep.
- Superior Darkvision: the protagonist can see in the dark within 24 meters.
- Dancing lights: a clever spell that creates wisps of light that illuminate a 12m radius.
Human
Humans are probably the most versatile race available in Baldurs Gate 3 - they are also suited to Rogues. Human receives a +1 bonus to every attribute available in the game.
