Quest objectives
- Find the githyanki patrol.
- Find the githyanki creche.
Walkthrough
Upon reaching the pass in the northwestern part of the map, you will encounter a githyanki patrol. Talking to the patrol leader triggers a fight, regardless of which dialogue options you choose.
After the fight, search the leader's corpse (preferably with a character who has a high Intelligence) and take the medallion. When you pass the Arcana skill check, you will learn the location of the Githyanki creche.
Head to the mountain pass and approach the spinning wheel shown in the above picture. When you manage to pass the Strength skill check, you will be able to use the gondola to transport the party near the Shattered Sanctum.
You can enter inside in several ways, however, we suggest a secret passage in the cliff (you can open it with a lock pick) marked in the picture above - it is located under the main entrance. You will get there by going down the rocks.
At this stage, it's good to have Lae'zel in your party - she will do better in all the conversations.
Upon entering, choose the passage shown in the picture above. When you get to the fork in the road with a picture in the middle, take the path on the left and you will go straight to the infirmary.
Speak with the githyanki doctor, then use the machine to try to get rid of the parasite. If you allow Lae'zel to sit in the chair, you will gain an additional approval level.
You don't have to try to save Lae'zel, because the attempt to remove the parasite will end in failure anyway. It's better to use this moment to build a relationship with the Fighter, so try to encourage her.
