Red Boy in a nutshell

1. It is a good idea to equip the Fireproof Mantle when fighting Red Boy. Thanks to this, fire attacks should not deal you too much damage and you will also be building up your focus bar.
2. The boss is very susceptible to stuns. It's worth using strong, charged attacks to make him lose balance so that you have more opportunities to attack.
3. Red Boy, despite attacking up close, has many ranged attacks. Don't be surprised if he creates a wave of fire in front of you soon after he attacks you from a far distance. Additionally, spirits such as the Father of Stones or the Wandering Wight can also inflict a lot of damage and can stun him for a brief moment.

Red Boy's attacks

1. A series of swings and waves of flames - this is the boss's most frequently used attack. The opponent swings his weapon several times, and then rises up. When he falls back down, he will perform a thrust, after which a wave of flames will follow. He will then turn his weapon and unleash the fire again, this time wider and farther reaching than before. Watch his movements carefully and dodge to the side, especially during the fire attacks.
2. Fire tornado on the weapon - when Red Boy stands still and then starts spinning his weapon quickly, after a moment he will throw it in your direction, creating a wave of flames at the ends of the weapon. This weapon will attack you multiple times, so observe it to avoid the danger. At the very end, the boss will fall to the ground but do not attack him immediately, because in a short moment, the weapon will attack one last time, returning to Red Boy.
3. Fire breath - an attack performed frequently when you stand very close to Red Boy. The boss will raise his left hand and direct it close to his face, creating a small flame. In a short time, he will spew fire from his mouth, which will attack everything in front of him.
4. Fire ground - Red Boy will quickly rotate his weapon to create narrow lines of fire on the ground that will start moving rapidly. Focus on the dodges or take advantage of the pillar stance to avoid danger by being in the air.

1. Clone technique - when the boss's health drops below half, he will rise into the air and become unattackable. After a while, he will create a large number of clones that act like bullets. Every second another boss duplicates will start flying towards you. Instead of focusing your camera on him, unlock it by observing which one is flying towards you. Dodge to the side at the right moment when the boss's copy is close to the ground.
2. Incinerating the ground - in the second phase, the boss's attacks will start leaving a fire path behind on the ground that will stay there for a while. If you step into it, you'll start to burn and receive damage over time.

1. Quick stabs - the boss can try to attack you very quickly in a straight line. He will do this several times, so observe his position and react properly by dodging.

How to fight Red Boy?

Do not use the Fireproof Mantle in the first phase of the fight. Leave it for the second round, because then the arena will be on fire and the boss will use fire attacks much more often.

Charge your attacks often, use immobilization or a strike to finish off a series of quick attacks. If you combine these moves well, you will get a deadly combination that Red Boy won't be able to stop.

In the second phase, you will need to pay attention to where you move, as the arena will often be on fire. Keep moving to areas not covered by fire and engage in battle with the boss right there.
