Kang-Jin Star in a nutshell

1. Kang Jin Star can transform into a large, transparent dragon during combat, gaining new attacks.
2. The boss attacks mainly with lightning. They can appear directly after the attack, as well as in random places in the area.
3. The opponent can also create a ball of lightning. This is an AoE attack, so it's worth running away from it as soon as you notice it.
4. The boss is prone to losing balance. We recommend using strong, charged punches.

Kang-Jin Star's attacks

1. Lightning strikes - Kang-Jin Star swings her arms twice up and once down. Then she summons lightning. You can avoid this attack by doing a dodging to the back.
2. Lightning Grab - The boss activates lightning on her hands and then lunges at the player. When you notice the lightning bolts on her hands, dodge to the side.
3. Lightning Ball - The boss rises into the air, and after a moment she becomes surrounded by a ball of lightning, which expands over time. After a short time it explodes. When you see this attack, run away.
4. Tracking Lightning - An attack that creates multiple lightning bolts as Kang-Jin's Star begins to levitate. You will notice many signs on the ground, which will indicate the places where a lightning will strike. Avoid them by dodging or running fast.

1. 5 Lightning Balls - The opponent will first shoot two balls, so be prepared to dodge. Then she will shoot one, and at the very end the remaining two expanding the range of attack. Perform dodges only when any of the balls is high and starts to fall.
2. Dragon Transformation - The boss can transform into a transparent dragon. In this form, she has access to two attacks. She will start creating many lightning bolts or will attack you with her body. In the first case, observe the ground, and in the second, be prepared for a quick dodge, as the attack is executed instantly.
3. Lightning Spears - This move is very commonly used at the start of the second phase when the boss starts transforming. She will create numerous spears, which after being stuck in the ground will generate an electric field in a small area. Don't approach them even for a moment. It's best to use the Cloud Step skill to be invisible and faster.

How to fight Kang-Jin Star?

Kang-Jin's Star is very susceptible to stuns and losing balance. This means that you have to use strong attacks and immobilizations. A good tactic will be charging the attack while running (preferably from a smash stance). Once she falls, attack with quick attacks until she gets up. Next, use the Immobilize spell and attack her again with a series of light attacks. She should fall over again. At the very end, charge a strong attack and strike for the final time.

Thanks to this move, you should be able to reduce her health bar to even half. Then it she transform into her true version. She will begin to create a multitude of lightning bolts on the ground, and will occasionally generate an electrical barrier around herself. When this happens, run away and try to focus on avoiding the attacks. Often the opponent is in the air when doing this, so you wouldn't have a chance to attack her anyway.

Even though the boss is more aggressive in the second phase, she is still susceptible to stuns. By that time, the cooldown for immobilization should reset. Proceed in a similar way as at the very beginning of the fight. Using this tactic, you should be able to defeat her quickly and efficiently.
