Five Element Carts is a boss that appears five times, each time under a different name. You can meet him in chapter 5. Five Element Carts in a nutshell

1. The carts can be found in Chapter 5 of the game. They often block narrow passages, which you won't get through unless you defeat them.
2. Usually they do not move, just stay in one place. They attack from a distance and when you get too close to them.
3. They don't have many attack animations. They often breathe fire in narrow passages.
4. These enemies can be stunned with strong, charged attacks. The more focus points you use, the greater the chance of a longer stun.
5. There are various ways to avoid their fire breathing. For example, While fighting the Bronze Iron Cart, you can go to the right, in front of its face. In the case of the Gray-Bronze Cart, you can hide in the hole in the wall on the left side.

Five Element Carts attacks

1. Breathing fire - a long-range attack delivered in a straight line. Under normal circumstances, it's not hard to avoid, the problem is that often you will fight in narrow arenas, where there is no way to step aside. If you have the opportunity, try to get as close to the enemy as possible, on the left or right side or hide anywhere where the flames cannot reach.
2. Explosion - if you stay very close to the boss for too long, he will wrap both arms around himself and after a moment he will cause an explosion in a medium area. When you notice this characteristic movement, quickly move away from the boss to a safe distance.
3. Two-handed strike - the boss will raise both hands high up and hit the ground in front of it with great force. Step back or dodge to the side.
4. Barrage - enemies usually only use this attack when you are very far away from them and have to get to the boss first. This is an artillery shot of fiery orbs. They often launch it in a specific area. Wait out the fire and when you notice that it has ended, quickly escape the area.

How to fight the Brown-Iron Cart?

This is the first cart you will have to compete against. The fight is quite simple, as there is plenty of space on the right side, thanks to which you will be able to avoid its attack, where it breathes fire.

At the moment when the boss wraps itself with its arms, try to withdraw to a safe distance. If you stay in the spot on the right side, you will probably get hit anyway. Apart from that, you shouldn't have much trouble with this boss. Use the immobilization to have a higher chance of a successful attack and depleting the boss's health faster.

How to fight the Gray-Bronze Cart?

The fight with the Gray-Bronze Cart is very similar to the battle with the previous boss. There's no significant differences between them; the boss has practically the same attacks. The problem is that the arena is even narrower than last time.

Fortunately, on the left side, near the boss, there is a gap that will allow you to hide from a fire attack. As soon as you notice the Gray-Bronze Cart preparing to make this move, retreat as quickly as possible, hide in that spot and wait out the attack. Then go on the offensive.

How to fight the Crimson-Silver Cart?

You will find the boss right after the fight with the Keeper of the Flaming Mountains. This fight stands out from the previous ones in that the Cart finally moves freely and doesn't block any road. It's not worth approaching it from behind, because after a while it will create waves of fire around itself.

It's best to attack him from the side, as most of his attacks are performed while you are standing in front of him. Due to its size, it cannot maneuver very well.

How to find and fight the Rusty-Gold Cart?

1. To reach it, first, you must defeat three previous carts and activate one additional, which is located in the lava lake. He doesn't have any name. To find him, go to the location Furnace Valley entrance. There you will notice a big cart, but it's inactive. Pull its string by interacting with it.
2. Next, head to Ashen Pass I. Near the place where you fought the bull NPC, you have to talk to it and exhaust its dialogue. Then you have to go to the place where you fought the Crimson-Silver Cart. Exhaust the dialogue with the NPC again.
3. At the very end, head to the location where the Red Boy's arena and Yaksha King are located. It's near this place where the secret location with the Cart of Rusty-Gold is located. It will only be unlocked when Pingping uses the Platinum fan to clear the location of fire.
4. Only then will you unlock the fight with the Rusty-Gold Cart, which is located in the Field of Fire location. When you approach the large icy doors, you will see that the previous NPC, to whom you had to go in Ashen Pass I, has been seriously injured. Talk to him, this will start a cutscene and the boss fight.

The fight against the Rusty-Gold Cart itself is very similar to the one against the Crimson-Silver Cart. The arena is bigger, and the opponent has a few extra close-range attacks but is highly vulnerable to stunning and immobilization. Stay on its sides and watch out when it moves as it can leave a wave of flames behind it.
