Cloudtreading Deer is one of the main bosses in Chapter 6 in Black Myth Wukong. It's one of the more difficult ones and the fight is split into two phases. Cloudtreading Deer in a nutshell

1. You can find the Cloudtreading Deer near the red leafed trees. Look out for them, then fly over on a cloud and land on the snow-covered arena.
2. The Cloudtreading Deer fight is divided into two stages. In the second phase, avoid stepping into the pools of blood, as they will keep poisoning you.
3. The Wind Tamer relic is the only valid choice for this fight. This is because after using this item you will get rid of the hurricanes, which are not only dangerous but also simply annoying.
4. The boss, when hit very hard, will fall over, which will give you plenty of time to attack. It's worth building up the level of focus through quick attacks and only then use the charged blow.
5. The Cloudtreading Deer is vulnerable to fire damage. The transformation turning you into a Yaoguai will be a good choice in this fight.
6. The boss's attacks can make you completely frozen if the status bar fills up completely. Then you have to quickly click the button that will appear on your screen to get out of the ice shell.
7. In the second phase, Zhu Bajie will come to support you, an NPC who can deal significant damage and heal you whenever your health drops below a critical level.

Cloudtreading Deer's attacks

1. Antler attack- the Cloudtreading Deer will stick its antlers into the ground, then pull them out and attack the player with great force. The attack is carried out in a straight line, so a side dodge will solve the problem.
2. Hoof attack - the boss can quickly attack you with its hind hooves. It's better not to approach him from behind, as this attack is very fast and hard to dodge. The deer will also perform it as soon as you get there.
3. Summoning tornadoes - a field of air will be created around the Cloudtreading Deer. After a short while you will be pushed away from the boss. Once you land on the ground, several tornadoes will form and follow you. You can get rid of them with the Wind Tamer.

1. Air jumps - the boss will jump in the air three times. After the last jump, the boss will fall down right where you are. You have to carefully observe him and only dodge when it starts to land.
2. Snowball attack - at some point the boss will hit the ground and create a cold aura. After a moment, the deer will form snowballs, which will start flying over his antlers. Every now and then it will be releasing them in your direction. Run left or right, or dodge those projectiles.
3. A pool of blood - in the second phase, when you reduce the boss's health bar to zero, he will fall to the ground and flood the arena with his blood. It is poisonous, so you cannot stay in it for too long.

1. Blood wave - in the second phase, the Cloudtreading Deer can stomp its front hooves and create a straight wave of blood that will go a considerable distance. Jump aside to avoid injuries.
2. Blood bullets - first, blood bubbles will start forming in the arena. After a moment, they will explode, creating several projectiles, which will quickly start flying towards you. Once it happens, focus on dodging rather than attacking.

How to fight the Cloudtreading Deer?

The first phase is fairly simple. Most of the attacks performed by the deer are pretty easy to avoid. Moreover, you are not then exposed to a hoof attack.

As soon as you charge your focus to the third or fourth level, quickly use the charged attack. This will make the boss fall over and give you plenty of time to attack him without risking much.

When the Cloudtreading Deer loses about 40% of its health, it will push you back and create many tornadoes. Get close to the boss and use the Wind Tamer. You will immediately get rid of the tornadoes, and on top of that, you will knock the boss down. There is no point in keeping this relic for later as in the second phase the deer doesn't create tornadoes at all.

The second phase is more demanding. The boss seems more aggressive and most of his attacks, which have already appeared in the first phase, splatter blood on the ground. Therefore, pay attention to where you stand. If you stand on the blood, you will keep receiving the poisoned status.

Feel free to use any available tools that will help you in the fight. Of course, we're talking about transformations and spells. Especially immobilization and turning your body into stone will be useful here.
