Keeper of Flaming Mountains and Yin-Yang Fish in a nutshell
- Initially you will fight the Keeper of the Flaming Mountains. He specializes in long-range attacks. Moreover, he summons a lot of units onto the arena, which are in fact your main threat. You have to defeat everyone, especially the dark horse, to move on to the next phase of the fight.
- Once you defeat the black horse, you will fight Yin-Yang Fish. The fish is much more dangerous than the Keeper, and also more mobile. Attacking it may be a difficult and time-consuming task.
- It is worth using spells only during the fight with the Fish. Immobilization will be especially useful, as it will grant you more opportunities to attack the elusive boss.
Keeper of the Flaming Mountains attacks
- Rise and fall- the boss will rise into the air, firing 7 projectiles in a horizontal line. They will start to expand with the distance covered. Move away or dodge forward when his bullets start to form.
- Spin and recoil - once you get close to the opponent, he can turn around and after a short while create a black explosion around himself. When you see this movement, move away from it as quickly as possible.
- Homing projectiles - the boss, while standing on the ground, can release multiple projectiles that will initially materialize in the air and after a while, start following the player at high speed. Run in either direction to avoid them.
- Summoning reinforcements - the boss will rise into the air and you will not be able to attack him. After a moment, he will summon several warriors and archers, copies of basic enemies, which are easy to defeat. Destroy them as quickly as possible, otherwise the boss will not drop down and will be impossible to attack.
- Laser orbs - the Keeper of the Flaming Mountains will create a large number of orbs in the arena that will slowly rise into the air. When this happens, after some time these orbs will fall to the ground and create laser pillars over a large part of the arena. Stand in a place where there were no bullets before or dodge at the right moment to avoid taking damage.
- Summoning the black horse - black horse is an enemy with the head of a horse that has some interesting attacks. He swings his whip, spreading ink over a large area. The opponent often attacks three times, at a very fast pace. Remember to dodge at the right moment and only then attack. When you defeat him, you will start the fight with Yin-Yang Fish.
Yin-Yang Fish attacks
- Firing Yin-Yang bullets - the boss will dip its tail in the water and then shoot several bullets at the player. This attack has a wide range, so to avoid it, you need to step back or dodge at the right moment.
- Tail swipe - the enemy will swipe its tail to attack. He does this most often when you are close to him.
- Scream - the boss will raise his fish head and then start materializing white orbs in the arena. They will stay there for a long time, so be careful not to step on them. After a while the Fish will start shooting towards you black orbs that you will have to dodge.
- Water attack - Yin-Yang Fish will begin spitting out a stream of water in a straight line. The attack will change its location along with the boss moving its head. Run in one direction. It's best to get closer to the opponent himself to avoid his attack.
How to fight the Keeper of the Flaming Mountains and Yin-Yang Fish?
The most important strategy when fighting these two enemies is to not spend too many resources fighting the Keeper of the Flaming Mountains. It is especially worth keeping a lot of mana, mainly for immobilizing the Fish, because due to its high mobility, it will often be elusive.
It is important during the fight with the Keeper of the Flaming Mountains to shorten the distance between you as much as possible because he specializes in long-range attacks. Moreover, he is susceptible to stun, so strong, charged attacks will give you a significant advantage. Remember, as soon as you notice the reinforcements, deal with them first, otherwise the boss won't drop down and will still be impossible to target for attack.
When the Keeper of the Flaming Mountains' health reaches very low levels, he will summon an inky black horse that attacks with a whip. His attacks have a large range, but despite the various blows, they are very similar. Most often he strikes three times. Be careful of one combination, because when approaching the enemy from the side, the third attack is barely visible and often hits the target. That's why you should always focus on performing three dodges in a row and only then attack him. When he is defeated, you will start the fight with Yin-Yang Fish.
Yin-Yang Fish is a troublesome enemy due to its very high mobility. Because of this, it will often run away from you and attack from a distance. Therefore, when you are close to it, remember to use the immobilization spell after a few attacks. Thanks to this, you will be able to deliver many more blows.
The most dangerous attack this opponent can perform is soaring into the air and shooting a large number of black orbs. If one of them hits you, all the others will too. As soon as you notice them flying towards you, run around the arena as quickly as possible, without stopping for a moment.
