Dragon Age Veilguard: How to respec?
The skill tree in Dragon Age Veilguard gives a wide scope to players who like to experiment with character development. On this page, we will tell you how to reset and reassign experience points.
Dragon Age Veilguard offers a wide range of character development options. The extensive skill tree allows you to customize Rook to your preferences by unlocking appropriate abilities and paths. However, if you decide that the path you have chosen does not suit you, you can reallocate your skill points. On this page we will tell you how to do it.
How to reset skill points?
At any point during the game, open the menu and select the Skills tab. In the lower left corner you will find the "Refund points" option. Press the key displayed next to it (F key on PC, Y or Triangle on controllers).
All points spent will be immediately refunded and you will be able to redistribute them. This action costs nothing and has no consequences. You can do it as many times as you want.
Interestingly, you can also reset points for individual abilities. Just hover over the selected skill and then select the "Refund" option. This option will be useful in a situation where a newly unlocked feature does not meet your expectations. Single refund works only on abilities that are currently at the end of your skill "branch" (connected to another ability on only one side).
Can I change class?
The freely available respec allows for easy modification of the character build or even changing your specialization. However, it only works within the character class chosen at the beginning of the game. Once selected, it is permanently assigned to the hero.
