Dragon Age Veilguard: How to get past the plague obstacle in the Ritual Site?

In the third chapter of the game, the heroes return to the site of Solas' ritual to find a mysterious dagger. About halfway through the quest you will reach a location described as the Ancient Bridge, where you will encounter a large plague obstacle blocking the passage. The method of removing it is not very intuitive, so on this page of the guide we will tell you what to do to be able to proceed.

How to destroy the large bloody wall in Ancient Bridge?

You will encounter the wall approximately halfway through the Ritual Site location, in the third chapter of the game. To destroy it, you have to first neutralize two smaller bloody growths located in the area.

The first one can be found immediately to the left of the passage. You will recognize it by its bloody pulsating red aura. Destroy it with a basic ranged attack.

Now, get to the other side of the bridge. Pick up the crystal next to the obstacle, which will deactivate the bridge you just crossed. This will reveal another bulb, which is located on the opposite wall of the crater.

Destroying the second bulb will make the main obstacle vulnerable to attacks. Wait until it pulses red, then destroy it with a basic attack. Now all you need to do is take the crystal to the lantern in front of the steel gate. The bars will lift and you will be able to proceed.
