1. Don't forget to spend companion skill points - your party grows and develops alongside you. Keep in mind to check their personal skill trees from time to time and spend the points they've gained.
2. Look out for Codexes - they're easy experience - some collectibles grant XP when picked up, which comes in handy early on.
3. Items can drop from destructible objects - destroying scattered rubbish can reward you with useful resources.
4. Don't choose Mage on your first playthrough - Mage is a rather challenging class, which we discourage using during your first playthrough.
5. Save your game often, especially before story choices - use the flexible save system to test out different dialogue options and choices.
6. Some rooms are hidden and invisible on the map - explore all locations carefully so that you don't miss any secrets or collectibles.
7. Don't ignore companion quests - ignoring companion quests can cause them to expire and lock you out of their personal storyline.
8. Try to have at least one synergy between companions - make sure your party's abilities synergise.
9. Have a companion with a healing ability - healing will keep you alive during dangerous encounters.
10. Destroy barriers with ranged attacks and armor with heavy attacks - special health bars can be quickly depleted with specific attacks.
11. Increase camera sensitivity when playing on controller - a faster-moving camera will help you during fast-paced combat.
