Last update: 17 February 2022
This page of the Elex 2 game guide describes world exploration and all aspects related to it. Here you will learn about traversing the world on foot, flying with a jetpack and unlocking fast travel points. We also did not forget to explain the map and the various indicators and markers.
Traveling the world on foot
The main way to travel is to explore the world on foot. You can increase your speed by sprinting. Running isn't unlimited and uses a resource that you can increase with the Stamina skill. You can also speed up the regeneration of the bar by unlocking the Stamina Regeneration skill. Additionally, by joining the Morkons you will gain access to the Rite of Speed skill, which permanently increases the character's movement speed.
Flying with a jetpack
The jetpack, obtained at the beginning of the game, is a great help in exploring the world. Thanks to the jetpack, you can reach high places or fly over canyons. The jetpack's abilities can be increased through various types of upgrades. If you want to learn more on this topic, check out this separate page of our Elex 2 game guide: Jetpack.
Fast travel points
During your journey, you will come across fast travel points, such as the one pictured in the screenshot above (they all look the same). You can teleport to unlocked fast travel points any time in the game. You can fast travel from anywhere - you don't need to reach a fast travel point to teleport to another point.
Map and markers
Another thing that makes exploration easier in Elex 2 is the map - both the big map and the minimap. The objectives of your currently selected quest are marked on the map, which allows you to easily find the location or character you are looking for. Additionally, you can place your own indicators on the map. The developers have provided several icons that can be used to mark interesting places, dangerous monsters or locked safes.
