On this page of the Elex 2 guide, you will find information on how to join the Claws - a group similar to the Thieves Guild from other RPGs. This can be a very profitable activity during which you complete thieves contracts that involve acquiring large amounts of elexit and other valuable loot.

First encounter with the Claws in the Fort
The first time you can learn about the Claws is during The Berserker's Trust quest in the in the Fort.
One of the objectives of this quest involves conducting an investigation together with Wulf. Soon after an inconclusive night patrol, Jax will meet Skinny who mentions the Claws and proposes a meeting. To advance the main quest, you will have to fulfill Skinny's request and steal a ring from one of the houses in the upper district.
After you bring the ring to Skinny, he will lead you to the entrance to the Claws hideout located near the destroyed dome in the Fort. You have to open the hatch and go down the ladder.
You will meet Yasma in the Claws' hideout. You have to complete two important objectives to be able to establish closer cooperation with the Claws and to not let them get detected:
- Give the ring to Yasma, contrary to what Skinny said before, then say that you want to join the Claws.
- Lie while reporting to Wulf and tell him that the Claws hideout is in the old ruins outside the Fort (upper dialogue option).
After returning to Yasma, you will be able to take assignments from the "thieves guild". She will also give you a claw you can show to other members of this group and prove that Jax is a trusted person.
Rules and potential profits of working with the Claws
You can find new orders in the chest in the Claws hideout. Each adds a new quest to your journal (they can be tracked).
Missions can have different assumptions and may require you to, for example, steal items from restricted areas, locked containers or safes. They can also be more complex by requiring you to steal several different items, find a key or find a safe combination.
Besides the item associated with the task, you can also steal others that will be in the same container or in the same location. These can be valuable items such as new weapons, clothes, elexit, modifiers, specializations, ammunition or rare crafting materials.
With the stolen item or items, you must reach one of the baskets used by Claws as Dead Drops.
At the end of each assignment, you must return to the Claws hideout and take the reward from the chest. In most cases, it will be several hundred pieces of elexit. Completing a given contract can also unlock new ones, so don't forget to check the bounty container again.
Tjark - thief skills trainer
Tjark, a skill trainer, is in the Claws hideout under the Fort. You can start learning from him the moment you join the group. He can train Jax in very important skills related to theft - mainly the abilities from the Lock Picking, Pickpocket and Hack groups. Try to unlock at least their first levels to make it easier to deal with the contracts.
