This page of the guide to Elex 2 contains a walkthrough of the main mission Spring Cleaning. You will receive it after talking to Adam in the Bastion - he will move there after your first conversation with him, i.e. during the Nothing to Lose mission.
Defeating the Annoying Critters
The mission objective is to defeat 5 Annoying Critters. The location of each enemy is marked on the map. Some of them are located directly in the Bastion, while others are a bit further away.
Defeating them shouldn't be a problem, especially since they are alone. All you need is the basic equipment collected on the way to the Bastion. Kill all enemies to complete the mission (you don't have to return to Adam).
