Elexit Crystals are the currency in the world of Elex 2 (they are the equivalent of gold from other games). They allow you to buy better weapons, replenish potions and ammunition, or gain skills. This page of the guide describes the best ways to earn the crystals. The following tips will help you get the crystals quickly in several different ways - by trading, fighting, exploring or mining.

Exploring the world and defeating enemies

The primary way to earn the crystals in Elex 2 is to carefully explore the world. Elexit crystals can be found literally everywhere - in ruins, caves or destroyed barrels. In addition, searching the locations carefully will also provide you with many items that you can sell later. The inventory space is unlimited, so you can collect whatever items you find.

Remember to search defeated enemies as well. They will have crystals and other items - you will use some of them (such as potions, food or ammunition) later in the game, and the rest you can sell to merchants.

Trade

Another earning method is directly related to the previous one. You can sell the items you've collected during exploration to merchants - you will recognize them by the pouch icon on the map. Most of the sellers are among people (e.g. in the Fort or Cave), but they can be found almost everywhere. Some of them keep moving around the world, but you can check their current location on the map. Each merchant will buy any item from you . This means, that you don't have to look for e.g. an alchemist to sell potions.

Completing missions

Another way is to complete missions. Completing a task successfully usually grants a reward - crystals or some item. Therefore, accept all missions and try to complete them. Completing some tasks will give you even a few thousand crystals.

Thievery

Stealing in Elex 2 can also be a good way to earn crystals. There are many valuable items in the NPCs' houses. Of course, you can't get caught stealing, because this will make the robbed NPC attack you. To remain unnoticed, sneak and buy skills that make stealing easier. Lockpicks will also be useful.

Mining Elexit

You will find a lot of Elexit ores in the game world. All you need to do is have a Jackhammer and look for stones with blue patterns as you explore the world . The Jackhammer can be found in the mines (e.g. in the ones near the Fort) or bought from some traders.

You can mine the Elexit ore when you approach it and press the correct key. After a while, Elexit crystals and pure Elex will be added to your inventory. What's more, you can increase the number of extracted resources by learning the Mining skill, e.g. from Scrappy near the Fort.

Crafting

A good way to earn money is to combine 3 damaged weapons into 1 repaired one - this increases its value several times. You do that by using the crafting described on a separate page of the guide. Of course, you can also create entirely new items and then sell them.

Obtaining Dark Elex

If you are at the stage of the game where your character can defeat the Skyands, a great way to earn money is to collect Dark Elex. One Dark Elex is worth 50 Elexit crystals, and you can get even a dozen or so from the strongest Skyands.

Arena fights

During the Attila's Tests of the Outside World quest, you will unlock the option to fight in the Grotto arena. For each fight you win, you will receive a bag in which you will find crystals, potions or crafting materials. In the arena, you can only take part in 5 challenges, but completing them will reward you with several thousand crystals.
