This page of the Elex 2 guide contains the walkthrough for the main mission System Error. It is a simple task which consists in bringing the CRONY U4 drone to the Caalan Altar in the Castle.

The System Error quest in Elex 2 is received automatically after completing the Machines Run Amok quest. You will learn where to find the Caalan altar, which you must reach with the CRONY U4 drone.

Where is the Caalan altar?

After receiving the task, go to the CRONY U4 drone - if it is not currently your companion, it will be in the Bastion. Ask it for help in finding out why the robots have revolted. Now you and the drone must go to Caalan's altar. It is in the Castle, in the building where Reinhold (the leader of the Clerics) is staying - the exact location will be marked on the map.

Once there, interact with the altar. You will see a short cut-scene. After that, a dialogue with CRONY U4 will start, which will end the quest.
