Unlocking the entrance to the Fort and a tour with Striker
The Fort is the Berserkers' headquarters and one of the first locations you will visit during the game. When you try to enter the Fort, you will be stopped by Gardar. You will need to use one of the methods of unlocking access to Fort - we have listed them in the walkthrough of the Admission to the Fort quest.
When you gain access to the Fort, Striker will speak to you and suggest a tour around the Berserkers' headquarters. You can try to refuse him now, or agree to his offer - this way you will unlock a short quest Tour of the Fort.
Choices regarding paying Striker
Striker will show you around the public areas of Fort. At the end of the tour, he will demand payment - 100 elexit. You can refuse Striker but this won't solve the problem.
During one of the next attempts to enter the Fort, Striker will ask for payment again. If you refuse the man a second time, you will learn that in 2 days he will want to forcibly collect twice the initial price - 200 elexit.
Final confrontation with Striker
After 2 in-game days, be sure to save the game before approaching the main entrance to the Fort. As promised, you will be stopped by Striker again and this time he will demand 200 elexit.
Remember that saying no to paying up means that you will fight Striker. Other Fort guards, or your current companion won't interfere. Striker is a strong opponent that can fight by using his melee weapon and by throwing fireballs. It is a good idea to fight the man with melee weapons to prevent him from using magic or to dodge them sideways.
A fight with Striker will not end with the death of any of you. If Jax is defeated, the man will ask you again to pay up - 200 Elexit.
If you manage to defeat Striker, he will stop asking you for payment - you will be able to freely enter the Fort.
You can also try to postpone the problem with Striker by using alternative entrances to the Fort. You can choose the back entrance to this location (the picture above) or use the jetpack to fly over the walls. This can be a good option if Jax is still pretty weak - you will want to level him up enough and get better equip so that he has a better chance against Striker.
