This page of the guide to Elex 2 contains a walkthrough of the main mission called Adversity. You will receive it automatically after completing the Hot Wire quest. The mission involves mainly completing other tasks, but you have to unlock them first by talking to Cassandra.
Summonig Cassandra and unlocking the quests
You'll summon Cassandra for the first time at the start of the mission - be careful, though, because you will be attacked by the Curators. Now talk to CRONY U4 and choose the option to reconnect with Cassandra. You'll have another conversation, and you'll get the Elex Purity and Unrest and Unity quests. Don't start the mission right away, though - instead, summon Cassandra again through the drone. You will receive two more quests: Loyal Companions and Willpower and Transformation. The Traitor quest and the ending the mission
After completing the Willpower and Transformation quest, you will receive one more mission: Traitor. Complete both this mission and the ones mentioned above. Now you can go to CRONY U4 and recap Jax's actions to complete the Adversity mission. You will also receive another main story quest called The Gates of the Main Former.
