This page of the Elex 2 game guide lists the best starting armors. Here, we have described ways to get armor easily at the beginning of the game - without having to join a faction. Our tips include both free armors as well as ones that need to be purchased.
Simple Berserker Clothing
The easiest armor to obtain is the Simple Berserker Clothing. You will receive it from Thorhild in the Fort during the Admission to the Fort quest. You simply need to do one easy thing for Thorhild: talk to a local blacksmith. The armor provides 12 armor points - this isn't a lot, but it will work well in the early game.
Standard Morkon Shirt
Another free armor piece is the Standard Morkon Shirt. You'll find the armor near the Fort, more specifically in the place we've marked in red in the screenshot above. To make things easier, the screenshot also shows a nearby teleportation point. Go to this place and look for the chest - inside you will find the shirt that provides 33 armor points.
Standard Alb set
After earning some Elexit Crystals, you may be tempted to buy the Standard Alb Set. You can buy the three pieces of armor from a traveling trader wearing the Alb outfit. He traverses the entire Elex 2 map, so it's impossible to pinpoint his specific location, but it's easiest to encounter him in cities (the Fort, Grotto, Crater or Depository). The entire set provides 60 armor points.
Good Rebel set
The best, but also the most expensive, option to buy is the Good Rebel Kit, which grants 74 armor points. Like the Alb set, you can buy the armor pieces from a traveling merchant - but this time it's from the merchant in the Clerics outfit.
