Unlocking mission 6 | Main missions - Act II Watch Dogs Guide

The ctOS control center is a small enclosed area in the city's poorer neighborhood

Just like after you have completed the second mission, of this act, you now need to complete an additional activity, which is hacking into a ctOS control center located in the city's poor neighborhood, called The Wards. Exit the bunker, get into one of the cars parked nearby and drive towards The Wards. Your destination is the small enclosed area with guards around it.

Note - If you have already infiltrated into the ctOS center in The Wards, you can start mission 6 now.

The guard with a camera

Just like usually, after you get there, spend some time finding out about the restricted area of the control center. Stand next to one of the entrances and hack into the nearest surveillance camera. Switch from one camera to another, mark the enemies and try to find the guard with a hidden camera. Switch to that guard.

Wait until a forklift appears in the guard's view and hack into it. This will reveal that person shown in the above screenshot, who is in possession of the access code. Quickly, download it, before the guard with the camera turns away.

You can now walk infiltrate the premises of the control station and I recommend that you jump over the fence in the South-Western corner of the restricted area. After Aiden starts sneaking, reach the elevator on the right, shown in the above screenshot. Jump inside and stand next to the cover. This is important, because the noise of the working elevator will be noted out by the nearby guard and, if you stay out of cover, you will be spotted.

Jump down where there is safe

Using the elevator mentioned above will gain you access to the rooftop of one of the buildings of the enemy base. Go towards the router marked by the game. Stop after you get above the mission objective. Wait for the moment to be right and jump down. Take cover behind the truck, if necessary. Walk behind one of the covers here and, only then, turn towards the router and start the hacking minigame. After the server room view loads up, you can view several video recordings or focus, entirely, on uploading the trojan to the mainframe.

get away from the base

The last step to take is to get out of the ctOS control center. I recommend that you head towards the Northern exit from the base. It is being patrolled by a single guard and you can knock him down, or distract him (e.g. by hacking into an element of the environment, or by using with the Lure). Optionally, you can also use the Blackout, which will limit the opponent's range of vision. The only thing that you need to do now, is get outside of the grey circle
