Gain access to the Ambrose Theater club
The Ambrose Theater club is located in The Loop and, after you get there, you will have to get around the bouncer at the main entrance. Do not attempt attacking him, because you would fail the mission, as a consequence. Instead, stand within a safe distance of the bouncer and try hacking into his phone (the above screenshot). Approach him, wait for him to walk away from the entrance and sneak past.
Use the Profiler to find Defalt
Watch the recording prepared by Defalt and walk into the main room of the club. Activate the Profiler (press the hacking key/button) and switch to one of the stationary cameras, for convenience. Start scanning the visitors to find the people marked in red.
The first two people to scan are on the main dance floor. The third one is on one of the balconies above.
Hack into Defalt's server
The passage to the location with the server is in one of the corners of the building, on the upper floor. You do not need to reach it on your own, because you can switch to the nearby camera and perform the first remote hack. After the view loads up, track the laptop and hold down the hacking key/button again. Now, you will have to solve a hacking minigame.
After you complete all of the hacking minigames, you will get the view from the camera behind the DJ's station. Hack into the camera in the nearby laptop and pan it towards the DJ, to find out that it is Defalt.
Follow Defalt
Defalt starts escaping and activates Blackout, at the same time. Do not wait for the gadget to deactivate and follow the hostile hacker immediately. Head towards the stars marked by the game and climb up the ladder to the higher floor of the building. Follow the linear corridors, ignore the fuse boxes destroyed by Defalt and do not stop.
The fight on the rooftop
After several moments, you will reach the rooftop and it is necessary that you hide behind the nearest cover, because soon Aiden will be attacked by a numerous group of opponents. Do not bother about the chase, for the time being, because Defalt will not escape, while you are fighting. Just focus on the careful elimination of the enemy units.
During the fight, try to eliminate the enemy snipers, as soon as possible. Also, watch out for the grenades that the enemies throw at you, quite frequently. To prevent taking damage from them, change covers frequently, as soon as you notice the explosive apple drop near Aiden. To eliminate the enemies, you can use the grenade launcher or a good rifle and, as always, it is a good idea to use gadgets and hack, to your advantage.
Download data from Defalt
After you have secured the area, head towards the stairs marked by the game, thanks to which you will resume your chase after Defalt. Jump off the roof, carefully, and run towards the alley, where Defalt started the next part of his escape. Get into the vehicle parked here and follow the man.
Follow the information from T-Bone and do not attempt bumping into Defalt's car and, instead, strive for maintaining a short distance from the car. This will allow you to download the data and you need to wait until the blue bar, at the bottom of the screen, fills up. If Defalt manages to get away from you, the downloading process will only be halted so, you can resume the download after you come close again.
Eliminate Defalt
You will be allowed to eliminate Defalt only after the downloading process is complete. In order to destroy his car, it is a good idea to rely on hacking the elements of the surroundings, such as e.g. pipelines, bollards road spikes and drawbridges.
Just like in the case of the similar chases, from the previous missions, you need to kill the driver, after you have destroyed the car. The easiest way to do that is to run Defalt over. This is the end of this mission.
Rewards for completing the mission: notoriety, 3000 experience points + experience points for eliminating Defalt
