Key points of Watch_Dogs - Burner Phones

Burner phones

Burner Phones are a category of collectibles that you can find in the game. They come in the form of phones that contain an audio recording, scattered all around the game world. They contain the recordings of Maurice and finding them sheds some more light on the story of the game itself.

Around Chicago, there are 8 phones of which, you can find the first one right at the beginning of the game, in the first mission. Also, they are required to complete the game in 100% and you can review the ones that you have already collected in the stats view, in your smartphone. Each recording is treated as an audiolog and it is counted as one of the total of the currently collected audiologs. Just like in the case of all minor collectibles, they are marked on the map after you unlock the ctOS towers for a given area. Three phones have been hidden in Pawnee - they are marked on the map as soon as you get there, in the storyline mode, in act III. Unlike in the case of the majority of collectibles, after you find all of the phones, you do not gain access to an additional special mission. The devices are not that well-hidden in the locations provided on the map but, in the case in which you are incapable of pinpointing their location, see the below description.
