Poker
Playing poker is one of the best methods of obtaining money in the game, as long as you know the rules. It is the classic "Texas Holdem" that consists in holding two cards on your hand and getting, with these cards, and the ones that you put down on the table, the best combination possible, which beats the cards of the opponent. The level of the AI system is quite high here, which is why the opponent may bluff or quit, if it happens to get weak cards at the beginning of the game.
On the map, there are locations, where you can play for low (100$), medium (1000$) and high stakes (100 000$). Note that, in each game with three opponents, you can get richer by the combined amount of cash that they declare. Also, you can quit at any moment of the game, once you decide you have won enough. It is enough to win one game, for it to be considered as one that lets you complete the game in 100%.
Chess
The chess, in Watch_Dogs, is a minigame that is required to complete the game in 100%. You only need to beat one of the modes or any 10 selected missions from different tables.
On the map, there have been 4 types if games marked - Survival - you have several pawns and the opponent has more of them, or stronger ones. You need to survive a predetermined number of moves, while protecting the king.
The second mode - The Path. It consists in seizing the pawns in a predetermined number of moves. Each time, it is possible to find a path, over which you will seize the pawn of the opponent, on each square. It is the easiest mode - the opponent does not make any moves.
End-games are meant for some more advanced chess players - these are the preset situations, in which you need to give the Checkmate to the opponent, in a predetermined number of moves. Checkmate is the situation, in which the King cannot make any move, and the square that it is standing on, is also in the line of attack of your pawns.
The last mode Full Game. It is played basing on the default rules, with the full set of pawns and the option to set your options (the color, the clock). Apart from the last option, each table has 10 varying challenges.
