Initiating the encounter with the boss

1. Yasha Ivanov is a mini-boss you must face when completing the optionalThe Man Who Killed Jason Foreman gig - its full walkthrough is on a separate page of our guide.
2. The quest requires you to reach the old motel and find Leon Rinder's room on the top floor. The interrogation of the criminal is interrupted by Ivanov, who grabs V and throws him back into the corridor.

Defeating Ivanov at the old motel

1. Ivanov is a very tough opponent - you should use high-damage weapons.
2. Do not stop attacking the boss, because Yasha can slowly regenerate his health.

1. The opponent uses camouflage, but it does not make him completely invisible. Your attacks can make him unable to hide. If you have lost the boss, you can listen for him, activate the scanner or pay attention to the direction from which the projectiles are coming.
2. You can also hack the boss - for example, overheat his systems, sabotage his weapons or temporarily blind him.
3. Yasha throws grenades from time to time so be on guard to avoid poisonous gas. Attack him from a distance or look for another way to reach the boss.
4. Unfortunately, the boss will not drop any unique loot, but killing him is required if you want to fight Rinder.
