Another major story quest of Phantom Liberty coming after Lucretia My Reflection is called The Damned. Our walkthrough for Cyberpunk 2077 shows where to find Alex in Bar Moth, how to reach the Voodoo Boys' hideout, where to find netrunner Slider and how, with his help, locate Songbird.
- Meeting with Reed in Moth bar
- Confronting Alex
- Entering Slider's hideout
- Finding Slider
- Leaving the hideout
Meeting with Reed in Moth bar
- The quest is initiated by a phone call from Reed at the end of Lucretia My Reflection mission. Moth bar, your meeting place, is in Longshore Stacks in Dogtown district. The meeting is scheduled to take place in the evening - sit on a chair in front of the bar if necessary to advance the time.
- In the evening, take a seat at the bar and order any drink from Daphne. After Reed appears, the bartender will kick all the guests out of the establishment.
Confronting Alex
- It turns out that Daphne is Alex, and she is mad at Reed over the events from several years ago. During the encounter, you can optionally make a reflex choice and show the woman the token or disarm her (requires 9 Reflexes). Fortunately, even if you don't make the action, Reed will stay alive.
- Leave the bar to talk to Alex on the veranda. Present to her your problem with missing Songbird. Return to the bar interior to talk to Reed. Alex will recommend locating a netrunner nicknamed Slider.
Entering Slider's hideout
- Leave the bar, talk with Johnny about the tree and reminiscing the dead, and continue to Voodoo Boys hideout in Dogtown. Sit on the bench and wait for Reed to arrive.
- Step inside the hideout. In your conversation with Reed, you can choose how you want to behave during the attempt to enter the hideout.
- You can talk to the gang members, but you won't be able to convince them to let you in. Watch out - bad dialogue choices may lead to the gang members turning hostile.
- You can also attack the gang members head-on - either without a warning or by sayiing Bushido - your signal for the attack from the dialogue options (requires 10 Body).
- The final variant is to try to sneak into the hideout. Once you get in, look around the area. There is a locked door in the lower area and to break in, you need to have 13 Body.
- Alternatively, go outside and climb up the building. In the area shown in the screenshot you can find a ventilation duct.
- When crossing the ventilation tunnels, at some moment V will fall into the room below and this is a story event. Wait for Reed to open the door for you and start attacking enemies.
- During the battle, look for and destroy server cores - an example server can be found in the attached screenshot. Shooting and destroying them will interrupt the connection, making Voodoo Boys unable to hack V.
- There are a total of 4 cores to destroy and additional ones will be marked by the game. Use good weapons and consider moving to higher floors of the hideout to have an advantage over the opponents.
Finding Slider
- The room with Slider is accessed by blinds on the upper floor of the hideout - raise them.
- During the conversation with Slider, you need to connect and broach the subject of Songbird. Songbird will also appear in the later part of the scene - you'll learn that she is held against her will and needs your help.
- Further ahead, optionally, you can disconnect earlier by completing a QTE - this will only prevent you from losing more HP due to a short-circuit. Regardless of the dialogue options selected, Slider will not survive the encounter.
Leaving the hideout
- On the way out of the hideout you'll encounter more Voodoo Boys. You can either sneak past or defeat them in direct combat.
- Alternatively, on the upper floor, you can find a ventilation duct (screenshot). You can use it to leave the building undetected.
- Outside, talk with Reed and look at Black Sapphire skyscraper. Another main quest - Get It Together - will be initiated.
