Initiating the encounter with the boss

1. Boris Ribakov is a former Spetsnaz agent and this elite soldier is one of the side bosses of the Phantom Liberty expansion. The clash with him takes place in the course of Gig: Spy in the Jungle quest. The quest itself received a detailed walkthrough on a dedicated page of the guide.
2. During this side task, you'll reach a museum and after crossing the main hall, V will attempt to meet up with Mark Bana in an upper room. Before you can proceed with the meet, the boss will appear and the only option is to fight him.

Breakdown of the Boris Ribakov encounter

1. Boris Ribakov regularly uses smoke screens and camouflage and this can make him difficult to locate. Try to rely on the red markers appearing on the map and above the revealed boss. You can additionally locate the boss via the direction the shots are coming from.
2. Also search for the red marker after Boris creates his own clones. This will make it easier for you to locate the real enemy.
