The Phantom Liberty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 adds encounters and interactions with new interesting NPCs like Songbird, Reed, Alex and Angie. On this page, we answer whether there are new romance options in the expansion.

Romance with Songbird

1. Songbird is one of the key characters of Phantom Liberty. You will meet her in various main quests. Later in the DLC, you will also have to help her - this comes with an important choice.
2. V and Songbird can only become friends. You can't romance Songbird.

Romance with Angie

1. Angie (Angelica Whelan) is one of the new NPCs affiliated with the Animals gang. You can meet her while completing the side mission No Easy Way Out - we described it in the walkthrough.
2. You cannot romance Angie or form any other relationship. Moreover, choosing wrong dialogue options can provoke a fight with her and other gang members.

Romance with Reed

1. Reed is an important new character introduced in the expansion. His image and voice were provided by actor Idris Elba.
2. You will meet Reed in most of the story missions. At some point, you will have an opportunity to go to a party with him. However, all these interactions are part of the operations performed and are strictly professional. You can't start a romance with Reed, you can only be friends.

Other potential romances

1. There are other new NPCs appearing throughout the main and side missions of Phantom Liberty like Alex from The Moth bar.
2. Unfortunately, the expansion does not offer any new romance options. You have to stick with the potential romance candidates from the basic version of the game - we described them in the Romances chapter.
