On this page or our Resident Evil 4 Remake guide, you can find a walkthrough for the Request called The Disgrace of the Salazar Family.
Requests are optional tasks but it pays off to do them, as they are a very good source of Spinels, a currency that can be spent on rare items, such as treasure maps or gun parts.
Completing all Requests is an objective of a silver trophy (Jack of All Trades).

The Disgrace of the Salazar Family request can be initiated in Chapter 12 - you can pick it up near the Merchant.
The painting of Ramon Salazar
The painting of Ramon Salazar can be found in Throne Room, a location west of the Antechamber. You can access the area through the gate leading to Ballroom. The painting itself is located in the northern part of the Throne Room.
How to destroy the painting?
To destroy the painting you have to throw an egg at it. The task of getting an egg is easier than it seems - there are two hens in the Throne Room which lay them. Moreover, a locked cabinet (unlockable with Cubic Device) in this area has a golden egg inside, but we don't recommend wasting it when there are normal eggs around.
After picking up an egg, Equip it from the inventory and then throw it at the painting (same as you would throw a grenade).
Reward
Completing The Disgrace of the Salazar Family Request is rewarded with x4 Spinel.
