The note lies on a table in the room where the second Grandfather Clock is. You can get the secret as Ashley and it is next to the Grand Hall where Leon is imprisoned.
Hastily Written Note

Foreman's Log

The log is in the mine visited in chapter 11. You will find it next to the store and the entrance to the shooting range.
Explosives Shortage Notice

You will find the note next to the collapsed passage in the mine. It is a hint on where to find explosives to destroy the barricade.
Housekeeper's Memo 2

The secret is in the Throne Room at the east end of the Castle's main floor. You can't get it on your first visit, because Leon will then be dropped into the Depths. You must return to the Throne Room in chapter 12 - then you will be able to get it.

You will find the memo at the very end of chapter 12, after defeating Ramon Salazar. It is on the way from Ancient Chantry to the marina with a boat that will take you to the Island.
