Location of the fight with Ramon
Ramon Salazar is the antagonist who appears several times during your exploration of the castle. You face him in chapter 12. Leon must reach the top of the Clock Tower and choose the eastern passage leading to the gate to the Ancient Chantry.
You should prepare for the fight:
- West of Ancient Chantry you will find a merchant and a typewriter (access to Storage).
- We recommend that you get any magnum and increase its Power. It will make it much easier for you to defeat the boss.
Boss fight description
Salazar will mutate into a creature capable of moving across the room and attaching itself with its tentacles to walls and ceilings. Salazar himself is hidden inside it.
The boss will make himself visible at the very beginning of the fight. This is an excellent opportunity to use a magnum or other powerful weapon right away and fire a few shots.
After Ramon moves away, switch to a ranged attack weapon and fire at the boss every time he exposes himself. These must be quick shots, so a rifle with a scope can be problematic here.
The boss can:
- spit poison- hide behind covers or stay in the starting lower area of Ancient Chantry;
- drop bombs on the arena - stay away from them or detonate by shooting from a safe distance.
The boss may start approaching Leon - watch out, because the creature can kill you instantly by devouring. If you see the boss preparing for this attack, run to the side to avoid being devoured.
After dodging the boss's strong attack, shoot him again with a magnum, shotgun or other good short-range weapon.
Inflict enough damage to the boss to stun Salazar - you can run to him and attack the large eye with a knife. Stabbing a knife in the eye won't immediately kill the boss, but it will seriously weaken him.
You must repeat the above steps:
- attack the boss when he is exposed;
- dodge devour attacks;
- attack the stunned Salazar with a knife.
Defeating the boss unlocks No Thanks, Bro! - a silver trophy. The boss will also drop Lip Rouge - an artifact you can sell for 24,000 coins.
