Last update: 27 March 2023
On this page of the Resident Evil 4 Remake game guide you will find information about the Request called Catch Me a Big Fish. It involves killing a unique fish in Chapter 4.
Challenges of this type allow you to earn special currency (spinels), with which you will be able to buy rare items - such as a treasure map, artifacts or special weapon upgrades. In addition, for doing them all, you will receive a silver trophy/achievement called Jack of All Trades. The list of undertaken requests can be found in the files menu and the requests tab.
Catch Me a Big Fish - request location
The blue card with the seventh request called Catch Me a Big Fish is located on the northern part of the lake. This is the location where you were at the beginning of the game, in the first chapter - it is called Lakeside Settlement. You might have already hit a closed door on your first visit. Now you have a key with which you can open it. You will get to a small cave, at the end of which there is an order.
Where is the Lunker Bass located?
Your task is to catch a giant fish called Lunker Bass. Get on a motorboat and head to the southern part of the lake, near the place marked on the map as Boat House. Est is the marina where you found yourself after defeating Del Lago, at the start of the fourth chapter.
Then look around for a huge fish swimming in the area. It stands out quite strongly from the others, not only in size, but also in appearance. Once you've tracked it down, make use of your harpoon. You can also shoot it with an ordinary weapon while standing on the shore, and then go up to get it with a speedboat.
After catching it, go to the nearest Merchant and make a sale. You will earn 5,000 pesetas for this.
Reward
After completing request #7 called Catch Me a Big Fish, you will receive four spinels as a reward.
