Lords of the Fallen is an action-packed game in which you will traverse a dark world, fight very demanding opponents and learn about a story that takes place a thousand years after the events of Lords of the Fallen from 2014. Lords of the Fallen on Steam Deck
In addition to PC, PS5 and XSX, Lords of the Fallen will also be playable on Steam Deck. This was confirmed by the developer who, in response to a question from one of the players on the Steam forum, replied that "we fully support Steam Deck". So if you are wondering whether to order the game specifically to play on Valve hardware, you already know the answer.
It is worth noting, however, that one of the advantages of Lords of the Fallen is its beautiful, detailed graphics, which you will be able to enjoy on a sufficiently powerful PC. Therefore, if you want the best graphics possible, it is better to play Lords of The Fallen on a computer or PS5 and XSX consoles.
However, Steam Deck undoubtedly has an advantage over the above-mentioned platforms, and that is mobility. You can play Lords of the Fallen on Steam Deck anywhere, even while traveling by train.
Lords of the Fallen on Nintendo Switch
However, Lords of the Fallen will not be available on Nintendo Switch. The game uses Unreal Engine 5 and is simply too demanding for Nintendo Switch which is a portable console.
Lords of the Fallen release
Lords of the Fallen will debut on PC, PS5 and XSX on October 13, 2023. The game is available for pre-orders. If you decide to do so, you will receive:
Exclusive Bronze, Silver and Gold Armour Tincts, used to re-colour any in-game wearable armour item
- 3x XP items - used for boosting XP
- 5x MP items - used for replenishing mana
- 5x HP items - used for replenishing health
The game is also available in two editions. The first, the standard one, simply offers Lords of the Fallen. The second one is a bit more expensive and is called Deluxe Edition. Apart from the game itself, you will also receive:
- Dark Crusader Starting Class - a set of items to facilitate the gameplay.
- Dark Crusader Armor & Weapon Set - a set of weapons and armor, including Isaac's Longsword, Holy Light Explosives, Full Armor Set and Paladin's Pendant.
- 100 Page Digital Artbook - an artbook containing artworks depicting the dark world of Lords of the Fallen.
- Digital Soundtrack - Soundtrack with music from the game.
- 3D Model Viewer - enables you to view all characters available in the game in high resolution and rich details.
In short, this means that people who pre-order Lords of the Fallen Deluxe Edition will receive the most additional items. If you want to get acquainted with the world of the game before Lords of the Fallen debuts, you can play the 2014 version. However, you don't need to know the story and the world of the prequel to have fun in the game, which will be released on October 13, 2023.
