Skyrest is a hub which is a place where players can safely rest and talk with NPCs encountered in the area. You'll often return to this location, e.g. to develop your hero, upgrade equipment, or unlock new spells or items. On this page of our Lords of the Fallen guide, we show when this location is unlocked and available for exploration. We also supply a list of the most important NPCs in the area along with a description of what kinds of services they provide.
When Skyrest is unlocked?
To get access to Skyrest, a hub where you can develop your hero, improve Sanguinarixes or upgrade your main weapon, you first need to defeat the second boss of the game, which is Pieta, She of Blessed Renewal. With the boss defeated (visit a dedicated page of the walkthrough for the description of the battle), cross the bridge and proceed via the path leading down. You'll enter Skyrest.
The most important NPCs in Skyrest
The first thing that you'll see after entering the hub will be numerous NPCs with whom you can talk or use their services. Below is a list of the most important NPCs in Skyrest:
- Pieta - this is a character found in the center of Skyrest. Her services include improving Sanguinarixes, which are healing items and increasing their maximum capacity. Your healing items are fully replenished with each rest at a resting point. Moreover, you can respec at this character i.e. redistribute character attribute points.
- Molhu - located on the upper floor to the left of Pieta. You'll only see him if you perform Umbral Rift. At this character, you can upgrade your Umbral Lamp, change Umbral Eye, and use Stigmas thanks to collected Remembrances and buy unique weapon, armor, or spells.
- Stomund, Captain of the Fidelis - a merchant at whom you can buy various weapons and armor items. Additionally, he also offers consumables such as Manastone Clusters or Health Stones. Finally, he can also sell you Pilgrim's Perch Key, needed to rescue blacksmith Gerlinde.
- Gerlinde the Blacksmith - this NPC is initially unavailable but will appear in the hub once you buy Pilgrim's Perch Key and free her in the bottom part of Pilgrim's Perch Bellroom. Once rescued, he will appear on the upper floor, opposite to Molhu. The blacksmith stock includes a few weapons, armor items, and additionally, she can improve weapons.
- Exacter Dunmire - if you're interested in Radiance magic, you will surely want to visit Exacter Dunmire, who can be found on the lower floor of Skyrest. He sells vartious Radiance spells, catalysts, and armor items.
