Scourged Sister Delyth is a small-sized boss and this fight is broken down into two phases. Your initial attacks targeted at her will deal very little damage due to the boss's unique health bar. On this page of our Lords of the Fallen guide, we show how to get the health bar back to red, how to defeat the boss easily, and list rewards received for defeating this enemy.
How to fight Scourged Sister Delyth? - Phase 1
The main problem fighting Scourged Sister Delyth is the presence of a parasite. Hence her blue health bar, which means that the damage dealt to her will be meager, and she will be able to heal from them easily. There are two ways of dealing with the parasite:
The first is getting away from the boss and luring her to the other part of the arena. The parasite stays in one location and its power doesn't stretch that far, which will make the health bar go back to red.
The second way involves provoking the boss to get closer and running downstairs quickly. On the right side there will be a small corridor with the parasite. To destroy it, you need to use Siphon, an ability available with Umbral Lamp equipped. You don't have to switch to Umbral for this to work. However, don't get too close, as in the corridor there are red stones that will explode right after the parasite is siphoned.
Once you remove the parasite from the equation, you can start fighting for real. At your starting place, you'll find two lesser enemies that you can kill right away or ignore completely. Scourged Sister Delyth is found at the bottom. She attacks using a war flail. In the first phase, most of the time, one attack will encompass 3 swings. Two first attacks have to be avoided, but after the second swing, you can attack and quickly dodge back.
Delyth can also perform a kick followed by additional attacks. The kick doesn't deal damage, but applies Stagger. Remember that you can use Soulflay at any moment to immobilize the boss and have a few seconds to attack her freely.
How to fight Scourged Sister Delyth? - Phase 2
Phase 2 begins when the boss is brought down to 60%-70% of her health bar. This is when she'll be infused with a new power, her attacks gaining in range, and she will start to quickly shorten the distance between you. From now on, she will most of the time attack 3-4 times in a row.
Additionally, she can now summon a whirlwind that follows the player. If you notice one, get out of its way as fast as possible.
Return with attacks of your own only when her flail combination is concluded. Her attack animations are quite fluid, so you'll need to defend well before you'll have a chance to attack. Charged Heavy Attacks may cause Scourged Sister Delyth to be staggered, which opens up the possibility of a break where you can deal a lot of damage. The problem is that she quickly dodges such attacks, so we recommend light, quick attacks.
In the second phase, the enemy uses similar attacks and combinations of those, but the pace at which the swings are performed changes dramatically. In essence, they are slower, so after every successful dodge you'll be able to fire a light attack. Usually you'll dodge, attack and so on.
