In Lords of the Fallen, you may have trouble putting on a ring from the hero's inventory. In our guide, we explain how to place the rings you have in the active slots.

In the 2023 game Lords of the Fallen, the player character can use rings that offer stat increases. On this page of the guide, we describe how to equip rings so that their bonuses become active.
Finding or purchasing a ring
- You can find rings as loot or buy them from vendors. These are valuable items because they can provide useful passive stat bonuses, e.g. extending the stamina bar or increasing the main attributes of the protagonist.
- Obtained rings have a separate tab in the inventory, but you cannot equip them from the inventory screen. After selecting a ring, the only options in the drop-down menu will be to drop it on the ground or permanently remove it from the inventory (do not select this option!).
How to place a ring in the active slot?
- To equip the ring, you must go to the Equipment tab, which contains slots for weapons, clothing items and consumable items.
- There are 2 free ring slots on the left side - we have marked them in the image above. Place your ring in one of them. You can enjoy the benefit of up to 2 different equipped rings at any given time.
In the Equipment tab, you can also change, in a similar way, e.g. weapons and armor elements. They also cannot be equipped directly from the inventory.
