Lords of the Fallen: Do defeated bosses drop weapons? Lords of the Fallen - guide, tips
Can you use weapons taken from defeated bosses? Our guide to Lords of the Fallen answers the question of the availability of unique weapons from slain bosses.
Last update: 16 October 2023
As you play Lords of the Fallen from 2023 you may want to acquire weapons used by the bosses. On this page of the guide you will learn whether it is possible, as well as what types of items can be received as rewards for taking down bosses.
Rewards for defeating bosses
- Defeating bosses in Lords of the Fallen comes with various rewards. The permanent reward is Vigor points, i.e. large amounts of experience. The reward list is always displayed on the right side of the screen.
- Weapons used by bosses may be included in the reward list, but this is not always the case. You will not receive them, among others: for defeating the first two main bosses (Otto and Pieta). Other rewards may be, for example, unique armor pieces, Vestige Seeds or Umbral Scourings.
Using weapons belonging to bosses
If the boss left a weapon behind, you don't have to pick it up manually. It will be automatically transferred to your inventory. The game immediately places all boss loot in the appropriate tabs and in the Equipment menu you can place them in active slots to start using them.
Examples of weapons that can be obtained in the first hours of the game are:
- Scourged Sister Flail - left by the Scourged Sister Delyth boss.
- Sin-Piercer Sword - it is left behind by the boss Gentle Gaverus, Mistress of Hounds.
Note - Some boss weapons have requirements when it comes to character attributes. In the example in our images, the Scourged Sister Flail requires 11 Agility points. If you like a given weapon, spend your Vigor on increasing the required attributes by leveling.
