Lords of the Fallen allows you to use gestures to, among other things, show various things to other players. On this page of the guide, we'll inform you about the location of the gesture menu, how to replace active gestures, and how to learn new gestures and add them to the set of ones already in use.
Selecting the gestures
Gestures are one of the ways in LotF to communicate with other players without the use of voice chat. You can have various gestures and activate them on demand.
You can call up the gesture menu by pressing:
- G key on the keyboard;
- Touchpad on the PlayStation controller;
- Back button on Xbox controller.
A list of gestures will appear at the bottom of the screen. You can have up to 6 of them active at any given time. Active gestures may include, for instance, greeting or pointing a finger in a certain direction.
- You can replace gestures with other ones. You have to highlight a given gesture, press the button to remove it from the active slot and then the button to select a new one.
- A list of known gestures will appear on the screen (example in the picture). You can also view them in a separate inventory tab.
How to unlock new gestures?
- You can unlock new gestures as rewards for interacting with NPCs. They can be unlocked, for instance, after a conversation, progressing in an NPC's story line or freeing a character.
- The game displays information about receiving a gesture along with the gesture icon and its name. The information appears at the right edge of the screen (as shown in the picture).
It's worth collecting gestures because unlocking all of them will earn you the bronze Gesture Collector trophy.
