Abiding Defender Kyra and Abiding Defender Lirenne in a nutshell
- If one of Abiding Defenders dies, the second will attempt to ressurect and heal her.
- Abiding Defender Lirenne fights mainly in melee range, while Kyra stays at a distance and supports her ally with Radiant spells.
- As a result, a good idea would be to equip armor that protects against Radiant damage.
How to fight Abiding Defender Kyra and Lirenne?
The fight is initiated once you get closer to the centre of the arena, in he direction of the chest. From the very beginning you will be forced to fight two opponents at the same time. Kyra, however, stays at a distance and attacks with Radiant spells.
Initially, you can focus on attacking Lirenne, while watching out for Kyra's spells. Lirenne mainly attacks with her sword. Sometimes, she will apply a buff on her sword that deals additional damage with each successful strike. However, she shouldn't surprise you with anything else.
In Kyra's case, however, there will be energy swords or yellow spots appearing on the arena. You will have to avoid them first. Treat this part of the game like an arcade sequence.
Energy swords can move around the arena. Touching them means receiving damage. Watch the battlefield, and only when you're sure that the spell has ended, proceed to the offensive.
When one of the duo dies, start attacking the second one. You will have some time to attack her. Especially when she starts preparing for resurrection. You'll know that the resurrection spell is coming when the boss's hand will glow yellow.
When a boss is resurrected, quickly approach this boss and start attacking. She will be vulnerable to your attacks, as the resurrection causes a short Stagger effect.
If you have the opportunity to attack Kyra and Lirenne at the same time, it is worth taking advantage of this opportunity. This will lead to defeating them faster, as both health bars will drop evenly. Consider using area of effect spells for this!
