Lords of the Fallen 2023 offers acharacter creator. Our guide compiles the most important steps of the character creator - choosing a class, details of the hero's appearance and naming your own character.

The hero you will lead in Lords of the Fallen from 2023 will be created from scratch at the beginning of the game. On this page of our guide, we explain all main tabs of the character creator. You will learn, e.g. how to choose gender and class, what are the main options for customizing the character's appearance and when you can name your hero.

Male or female

1. You can play Lords of the Fallen as a male or female character. The protagonist's gender is selected in the creator. The Body Type item is responsible for this. The default setting is Body Type A - male. Selecting Body Type B will switch to a female character.

1. The choice of gender is difficult to notice in the first tab of the creator. Your choice will be more apparent after going to the tabs defining the details of the appearance.
2. The choice of body type (male or female) has no impact on gameplay. Both types have the same statistics and fight in the same way.

Character class

1. The character creator is activated right after starting a new game. The decisions you make here will be permanent and binding, and you should spent a moment thinking them over.
2. In the first tab of the creator, you'll choose the character class. By default, you can make a choice from 9 available, but owners of the Deluxe Edition have access to the 10th class - Dark Crusader (more on this on Game editions page of the guide).
3. For recommended picks for both novice and more advanced players, visit the Best class page of the guide. Read their descriptions and look at their starting statistics and equipment (e.g. other primary weapons and armor sets, ranged weapons or spells).

Character's appearance

1. Head and Torso tabs are responsible for the hero's appearance.
2. In the Head tab, you can first of all adjust the general shape of the head and go to details and change the appearance of, among others. eyes, ears, nose or chin.
3. Other available options include: the hero's age (creating an older-looking character will not change the statistics for the worse), skin color, hair or tattoos. Most of these categories offer additional options, e.g. choosing patterns or colors of the elements (single color or a mix of a few).
4. Alternatively, you can fully randomize the character's appearance. Unfortunately, the game draws extremities and for a character of a more subdued appearance, you need to create it on your own.

1. In the Torso tab, you can determine the general shape of the hero's body. He may be, for example, more muscular or slim.
2. Additional options allow you to choose skin color and apply tattoos (separately on different parts of the body).

Naming the character

1. After confirming all changes, you will go to the Summary tab. Here you can see how your character looks with armor equipped, and receive information regarding the class and starting statistics.
2. Before initiating the game itself, you can also name your hero. The chosen name may appear when interacting with other players in cooperation or competition modes. During normal solo play, the controlled character does not speak in conversations and his name does not appear.
