While fighting in Lords of the Fallen, you may encounter problems with lack of ammunition or mana. On this page of the guide, you will learn how to read the current level of ammunition and magical energy and how to replenish supplies in order to resume using spells or weapons for ranged attacks.
Running out of ammo or mana
- A major difficulty in Lords of the Fallen is that ranged attacks and spells are not unlimited in the game. They consume supplies and once the latter are depleted, you will not be able to attack enemies from a distance or support yourself with spells.
- Information about current supplies is displayed in the upper left corner of the screen (example for a crossbow in the attached image). Thanks to this, you can approximately determine how many ranged attacks or spells you still have available.
Note - Not all actions use the same amount of ammunition or mana. More advanced attacks or spells can deplete your supplies faster.
Replenishing supplies
Below are the methods for restoring ammo or mana.
- Ammunition Pouch and Ammunition Satchel enable you to replenish your ammo stock. The larger the ammo container, the more you can restore by using it.
- Manastone Clusters enable you to replenish your mana reserves. They come in smaller or larger varieties. This affects how much mana can be recovered over time.
Manastone clusters and ammunition can be:
- Found as loot - search for all the shiny objects in the game world. Ammunition and mana are among the more frequently appearing loot types.
- Bought for Vigor - consumable items are available for sale from, among others: Stomund, Captain of the Fidelis, whom you will encounter quite early in the main story. By default, his mana items cost either 30 or 90 Vigor, and an Ammunition Satchel 150 Vigor.
You should assign consumable items for regenerating ammunition or mana to your list of Quick Access Items. This will enable you to quickly select them in battle without having to open the inventory window.
