Last update: 24 May 2024
This page of the guide contains information about the seasons system introduced in Farming Simulator 22. Spring, summer, autumn winter - each of the seasons requires the player to adapt to changes, respond to weather changes and organize their work in the game.
Time
There are 4 seasons in FS22 divided into 12 months. One day in the game is one month. Naturally, you can change the day length in the settings, which you will likely have to do as your farm grows. Aside from the cycles, the game introduces a crop calendar. What does that mean? Each plant has its own cycle and the appropriate timing when it should be sown / planted and harvested.
How to turn off the calendar?
You can't turn off the seasons. You can disable them in the game options - then you will have to wait a few days for the growth of plants, but regardless of weather conditions. Besides the olives, you have two months to harvest - there is no difference in the amount of yields, if you are going to wait for the last minute. Therefore, it is best to harvest the crops as soon as possible. Remember that rain affects the level of harvest, that's why you have two days to find the right time.
