What do you need?

Grains farming is one of the easiest activities available in the game. Grains also generate straw that can be sold to increase your income. Machinery for growing cereals:

1. Light tractor - work with grains isn't difficult even when using basic equipment.
2. Cultivator or seeder with cultivator,
3. Seeder (most seeders have a cultivator and some have a fertilizer tank),
4. Harvester with grain header,
5. Average trailer - preferably its capacity is close to or a multiple of the capacity of the harvester's.
6. Optional: forage wagon or baler to collect straw.

To maximize profits:

1. fertilize the field twice,
2. Do soil rolling immediately after sowing,
3. Make mulching before cultivation/plowing,
4. Do not let the weeds grow,
5. Do not harvest in the rain,
6. Plowing does not increase the amount of grain harvested.

You can store the collected goods in a silo.

Wheat

Wheat in terms of parameters, yields and prices is close to barley. You need a grain header for harvesting it.

1. You can get straw from it.
2. It is used in the production of flour in a grain mill (150l of wheat -> 120l of flour). You can use flour to bake a Cake or Bread.
3. You can feed it to the chickens.
4. You can feed it to pigs.

The yield of wheat is 17,000l per hectare.

Barley

Barley is similar to wheat. You need a grain header for harvesting it.

1. You can get straw from it.
2. It is used in the production of flour in a grain mill (150l of barley -> 120l of flour). You can use flour to bake a Cake or Bread.
3. You can feed it to the chickens.
4. You can feed it to pigs.

The yield of barley is 19,000l per hectare.

Oat

Oats are worth sowing especially when you have horses - this is their main food. You need a grain header for harvesting it.

1. You can get straw from it.
2. It is used in the production of flour in a grain mill (150l of oat -> 188l of flour). You can use flour to bake a Cake or Bread.
3. It is used in the production of Cereals as one of the ingredients.
4. You can feed it to horses.

The yield of oats is 11,000l per hectare.

Sorghum

Sorghum is another grain available in the game. You need a grain header for harvesting it.

1. It doesn't make straw.
2. It is used in the production of flour in a grain mill (150l sorghum -> 158l flour). You can use flour to bake a Cake or Bread.
3. You can feed it to the chickens.
4. You can feed it to pigs.
5. You can feed it to horses.

Sorghum yield is 16,000l per hectare.
