Tips and hints

  1. Ranger is the only class in the game that's able to have an animal companion. You can choose it when creating your character. It can be either a stag, a wolf, a bear, a lion, a boar or an antelope. Each animal has its own abilities and you can control it just like any other team member. Remember that the choice of the animal is permanent.
  2. Ranger is best used as a ranged unit - skills such as Wounding Shot can deal a lot of damage to single enemies. On the other hand, Ranger has the animal companion that's fighting in close combat - this makes a Ranger all the more valuable, since they strengthen your team in close and ranged combat at the same time.
  3. The key attributes are Might and Perception. Put as many points as you can here in order to increase damage and accuracy. The best race for a Ranger is Human.
  4. Ranger uses the Bond - a standard source of power used in combat for activating abilities and replenished after each fight.
