Quest that can be continued in Engwithan Waystation

[Missions] The Storms of Poko Kohara (this quest can be started in a few places in Neketaka) - Reach the lowest level of the dungeon and find the Engwithan Machine (M30,18).

Types of enemies and monsters in Engwithan Waystation

Scarab Beetle

Luminous Revenant - Typical undead. However, you shouldn't underestimate these enemies. They are rather durable and resistant to Intellect based abilities. They can also use, e.g. Luminous Essence ability which makes them stronger, smarter and faster for a limited time.

Adra Animat - Rather powerful monsters that can become even stronger after turning into Corrupted Adra Animats.

Engwithan Saint - You can find two of these creatures in the dungeon. Fighting with each one of them is a great challenge. Kill the Saints first and then focus on Adra Animats. Saints are invulnerable to diseases and poison.

Desert Imp - These monsters are invulnerable to mind attacks and

Desert Spider - They come in a few variants. The bigger the spider, the more threatening it becomes. Spiders can slow down and poison party members. They are also resistant to Dexterity based abilities.

Skeleton - They come in a few variants. Those that can use magic should die first.

Xakoras - A unique enemy in one of the tombs. Xakoras can summon skeletons and Adra Animats. Focus all of your attacks on him - his death eliminates all summoned creatures. Xakoras is resistant to diseases and poison.

Sigil of Nightmares - A unique threat. Sigils are pillars of energy that can inflict curse on those who get closer to them (their range is marked by a circle around them). Their curse lower Resolve by 2 points for 30 seconds. Try to stay away from them - destroying Sigils is problematic. Lure monsters away from them if you are in a fight.

Other information related to Engwithan Waystation

Don't rush through the dungeon in order to reach its lowest level - there are multiple valuable items located inside the chambers. However, you need to know that visiting them can be related to fights with stronger monsters, including Engwithan Saints (M30,9 and 12) and Xakoras (M30,14).

Save your game before activating the Engwithan Machine (M30,18) and going through the portal. Your party meets with spirits (one of the options leads to a confrontation with some of them or you can get rid of them all). After that you have to make an important decision regarding Luminous Adra pillar (more details in the description of The Storms of Poko Kohara quest).
