Tips and hints
- The source of the Barbarian's power is Rage - the equivalent of mana or stamina from other games. Every time you use an ability, some Rage is used up - should it drop to zero, you won't be able to use abilities. Rage replenishes fully after every fight.
- Barbarian is a character meant for direct, melee combat. It's a great complement to tanks (i.e. Fighter or Paladin), since barbarians are able to deal lots of damage with Barbaric Blow. Apart from that, they can access some crowd-control skills - remember to use the Barbaric Yell, which decreases enemies' stats.
- Barbarian's unique passive skill is called Carnage - it makes you deal damage not only to the target, but to nearby enemies as well. Use it and try to attack bigger groups of enemies.
- If you want to try mixing it with another class, you should choose a class that has a lot of health and resilience, such as Paladin. The Barbarian is by default rather poor with these.
- Use light or medium armors. Heavy armors will significantly decrease the frequency of your attacks.
- The main Barbarian's attributes are Might and Constitution - invest most points here, even at the expense of Perception or Resolve. Because of that, the Dwarf or Aumaun are great races for the Barbarian.
