GoW Ragnarok Valhalla: Young Kratos God of War Ragnarok guide
In the Valhalla DLC for God of War Ragnarok, you can change Kratos' appearance by choosing different versions of his equipment. You can also completely change the hero's appearance and play a younger/classic version of him. Check out how to do it here.

In the Valhalla DLC for God of War Ragnarok. you can unlock an alternate outfit for the main hero, which is colloquially named as Young Kratos or Classic Kratos (from the original GoW trilogy). It is also worth noting that you can use the new outfit in the New Game mode in GoW Ragnarok. How to unlock Young Kratos?
To unlock the Young Kratos outfit in God of War Ragnarok you need to complete the main storyline of the Valhalla DLC. It should be mentioned that in order to unlock the new outfit, a 100% completion of the DLC is not required - you only need to reach the ending credits which are displayed after completing the main story - which depending on the chosen difficulty level and gameplay style, may take from a few to several hours.
How to change Kratos' appearance?
If you want to switch outfits, visit any appearance changing pedestal and press R3. You can find one in the hub from which you embark to excursions into Valhalla.
