You will find the following collectibles and side quests in the Jarnsmida Pitmines region of Svartalfheim:

Nornir Chest
- Reward: Horn of Blood Mead
The Nornir Chest from the Jarnsmida Pitmines is located in the center of the region.
To open this chest, you have to light 3 torches with runes using Blades of Chaos. 1st torch is located next to the chest.
Then jump to the adjacent platform and light the 2nd torch. Go back to the chest and look at the water wheel.
Freeze the water pouring on the 3rd torch using the axe and ignite the last rune with the Blades of Chaos.
Legendary Chest
- Reward: Pommels of the Undying Spark - Blade Attachment
The Legendary Chest from the Jarnsmida Pitmines is located in the southern part of the region.
You will find the Legendary Chest, along with the artifact, in a secret area a huge crane leads to.
Near the entrance to the Applecore you will see a stream of water spilling out. Pull the handle to pull the lever toward you. When you do this, a stone block hanging on a huge lever will move toward you.
When the lever stops, remove the rubble blocking the way ahead.
Jump on a stone block and use an axe to freeze the water stream. Wait for the crane to take you to the secret location and follow the tracks to the Legendary Chest.
Lore - Rune Reads
- Name: The Pit
Lore from the Jarnsmid Mine is located in the central part of the region.
Near the Nornir Chest, you will find a handle that will lead you to a narrow path. At the end of it you will find writing on the wall.
Artifact #1 - Things Left Behind
- Name: Lofnheid's Whetstone
The first artifact from Jarnsmida Pitmines is located in the central part of the region.
When you get to the pit mine, go down to the lower level and release the chain that will lead you to the artifact.
Artefact #2 - Kvasir's Poems
- Poems name: Tool and Bang
The second artifact from Jarnsmida Pitmines is located in the southern part of the region.
You will find the artifact, along with the Legendary Chest, in a secret area a huge crane leads to.

The Odin Raven from the Jarnsmida Pitmines is located in the central part of the region.
The raven flies over the water. Go down to the lowest level of the region, where you will find one of the artifacts and a mystical gate.
Berserker Gravestone
- Berserker name: Bodvar the Fierce and Starolfr the Troublesome
In the Jarnsmida Pitmines in Svartalfheim you will find 1 Berserker Gravestone, near the entrance to the Applecore.

Remnants of Asgard
Remnants of Asgard can found in the Jarnsmida Pitmines in the northern part of Svartalfheim.
This collectible is related to the Last Remnants of Asgard favor. The side activity will be unlocked after you complete the main storyline.
